Hi Shelly,
This is my first blog. My gmail is suecataz@gmail.com The blogger url is something I forgot to write down so I will come back to it. I just found it - http://suecatcis237.blogspot.com (how original).
A little bit about me. I am a nurse and work for gateway community college continuing education. I put together a hemodynamic on line 1 credit course and am currently working (slowly) on an advanced critical care course on line. I am saying slowly, because it is hard to stay motivated - this course is a 4 credit course and needs to be done by early fall. I hope I can do it.
Please let me know if you read this. Ist blog. suecat

Sue,
Welcome! I'm excited that we'll work on your critical care course. We'll definitely chat after you develop your course outline/schedule. :-)
Shelley
What's a hemodynamic. Let's see hemo deals with blood.... dyn is power. I could assume it deals with the objective and purpose of blood flow in the human body. Amy I far off?
Shelley,
Thanks for all your encouragement. sue
Devon,
You are right- hemodynamic monitoring is a way of assessing fluid status by utilizing a catheter placed in the heart transduced by a monitoring system.
Sue,
I'm not knowledgeable about medical facts, but I'd love to engage in a nice political discussion to get your opinions on how health care might be improved in the U.S.A.
But that's for another time, another place.
I image these diverse Internet technologies are of great use in medical education, since there are always new developments to keep up with in science and medicine.
