Hi everyone,
This week we viewed material that can be useable in our classes without recreating everything from scratch. I think my favorite one was Merlot. It had a specific area for nursing with some material such as heart and lung sounds and cranial nerve information. It's always good to have extra resources to go to for teaching. I tagged what I liked and added it to delicious for future use.
I also downloaded shutterfly to my computer just for the fun of it.

This week we are going to look at video's that could help us with our coursework. I have been hearing quite a lot of bits and pieces about second life. I watched a blog on second life explaining how it can help in teaching and it sounds like it could be interesting. Today I was thinking of all of the new things I have learned in our technology and teaching class. Shelley is doing such a fine job, I was wondering if it ever really has to end. This is the type of class I would like to keep going with (with a few breaks in between) to actually get a chance to use the technology and get more familiar with it. I feel really blessed to be able to take this course.
Jing was something new for me this week. Some of the pages were down, but I was able to at least start using it - way cool.
